The mission of the Butler County Finance Department is to provide sound financial analysis and management support on matters affecting Butler County to the Butler County Board of Commissioners, County Administration, County Departments and Agencies. The Butler County Finance Department prepares and monitors operating and capital improvement budgets, manages and communicates the county’s financial plans, providing information for effective decision-making. The Butler County Finance Department supports the strategic policy priorities of the Board of Commissioners while being fiscally accountable to taxpayers.
