Recycle at School

Start a School Recycling Program
One practical, relatively easy way to introduce students to the benefits of waste reduction and recycling is to implement a school recycling program. A well-developed and well-run recycling program can help your students learn more about conservation and make a difference. Contact Rumpke or CSI for information on recycling and composting options.

Education & Outreach
We no longer provide in-classroom environmental education programs. However, we can provide you with several resources for programs and information.

Recycling Grants Program
We award grants to schools interested in providing sustainable waste reduction and recycling activities. You can use grant funds to purchase new recycling containers for your school, subsidize recycling pick-up costs and develop promotional materials for your recycling program. Applications are available in the fall and due in mid-December.
