The Administrative offices of the Butler County Commissioners include County Administrator, Assets, Procurement and Projects, Facilities, Finance, Human Resources and Information Services.
The Butler County Child Support Enforcement Agency is dedicated to serving the public to assure a higher quality of life and a better future for our children. The CSEA helps families by establishing paternity, collecting child support, enforcing support and medical orders and modifying support orders.
Butler County Children Services is committed to protecting children by strengthening and preserving families. Through open communication the agency will partner with the community to ensure quality outcomes for the children and families it serves.
The Butler County Department of Development's mission is to actively lead and collaborate with Butler County residents, businesses, local governments, and other agencies to leverage the physical and natural attributes of the County to enhance the business environment and workforce in Butler County.
Butler County's Job and Family Services provides services such as food, cash and medical assistance, publicly funded child care and employment assistance. It is our goal to enhance the quality of lives for our clients while promoting the stability, health and economic well-being of children and families.
Ohio Means Jobs is Butler County's business and employment resource center for all of your workforce and training needs. We offer an expansive business service catalog, assisting employers with recruitment expertise, occupational skills training, employee wage reimbursement through On-the-Job Training, layoff aversion and outplacement assistance services.
The Butler County Records Center and Archives was established in March 1995 to provide a research facility for genealogists and centralized records management services to our community, its elected officials, offices, and Courts. Our mission is twofold: 1) oversight of records management, which governs the lifecycle of records (creation, maintenance, use, and disposition, and 2) archiving, which is the permanent preservation of documents and other records of historical interest.
The Butler County Recycling & Solid Waste District serves the entire county by promoting recycling, waste reduction and responsible disposal of all waste from households, businesses and industry. One of 52 solid waste districts in Ohio, the Butler County District is responsible for implementing a solid waste management plan.
Butler County Regional Airport serves as a vital link between the Butler County business community and their principal destinations including Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and Pittsburgh. A short two hour flight provides access to sixty percent of the U.S. population, sixty percent of the nation's purchasing power, and nearly sixty percent of the nation's manufacturing establishments.
Butler County Water and Sewer Department provides safe, reliable services to Butler County — one of the fastest growing counties in Ohio. BCWS offers water and wastewater service to a growing population of more than 100,000 in West Chester, Lemon, Liberty, Fairfield, Hanover and Ross townships, the city of Monroe and the village of New Miami. BCWS's Solid Waste Management District is responsible for making recycling and waste reduction options available to all Butler County residents.
