History
Ohio’s Public Defender system was created in 1976 by Chapter 120 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Butler County Public Defender’s office operates to defend those who are accused of a criminal offense and are at risk for losing their freedom.
We provide legal services to people who meet the qualifications under the income guidelines set forth by the Ohio Public Defender’s office.
