Education is the backbone of a strong community, and Butler County has some of best post-secondary schools and school districts in the region.

Options for post-secondary education and training include Cincinnati State and Sinclair Community College. Butler Tech provides adults the professional training they need to work in a range of industries, including public safety, transportation, healthcare and industrial technology.

The 10 public school districts in Butler County serve approximately 50,000 students in nearly 80 individual buildings. Schools in the Ross, Fairfield and Lakota school districts have been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools by the United States Department of Education. Our districts routinely receive high marks on the Ohio School District Report Cards. In addition, John XXIII and Mother Teresa Catholic elementary schools, and Badin and Bishop Fenwick high schools offer students academic excellence in a faith-based education.
